Class 1/2P all enjoyed a visit to Hayes travel before we set up our own travel agents in the classroom.
The staff showed the children how to book a holiday on the computer. They talked about the sorts of questions they would ask and the children enjoyed looking at some of the hotels they could go and visit.
Multicultural Week May 2017
Class 1/2P really enjoyed learning about Japan as part of our Multicultural Week.
We learnt about what it is like in Japanese schools and houses.
We also had a go at eating noodle soup with chopsticks which was great fun.
We learnt about Torii gates and why they were important to religions in Japan. We then painted some silhouettes of them.
We made carp fish to celebrate Children’s Day and sampled some traditional Japanese food.
2015 – 2016
Class 1/2P all took part in performing a fantastic class assembly about Pirates.
