Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At Ox Close Primary School we value the abilities and achievements of all pupils and we are committed to providing the best possible environment for learning for each pupil. All pupils follow the national curriculum at a level and pace that is appropriate to their abilities. We believe in personalised learning and our curriculum is tailored to meet individual pupils needs. At times, and when it is felt appropriate, interventions and modifications to the curriculum may be implemented.

At Ox Close, we pride ourseleves in ensuring the equality is at the heart of our school curriculum and environment. Recently, the whole school took part in Anti-Bullying week, the them for this was ‘All Different, All Equal’. In addition to this work, KS2 have taken part in a variety of workshops that promote eqauality and disability. For example – Show Racism the Red Card and a visit from an inspirational lady with Spina Bifida.

A visit from Natalie – Discussing life with Spina Bifida.
